How scoring works

Each practice exam has 10 multiple-choice questions and a 12-minute timer. You can answer in any order, flag a question and come back to it, and use the on-screen calculator. When you finish, you see your score out of 10. Then you can review every question: the correct answer, a short explanation and the exam trap that catches most candidates.

The timer gives you 72 seconds per question. That is on purpose: the real CFPS exam allows 3 hours for 100 questions, about 108 seconds each. If you can keep up at 72 seconds here, you will have spare time on exam day to look things up in the handbook.

How to use the 3 practice exams

Take Exam 01 cold. Do it before you study, without the handbook. Your score shows your starting point.
Read every explanation. Look at the questions you got right too. The exam traps show how CFPS questions are written.
Study, then take Exam 02 with the handbook. Practise finding answers fast. Note which sections slow you down.
Keep Exam 03 for later. Take it a few weeks into your preparation to see how far you have come.
Move on to full-length practice. Before the real exam, sit full 100-question mock exams under time.
