These Terms govern your use of theplatformfire.com and theplatformfire.learnworlds.com ("the Platform") and any course you purchase from us.

By purchasing or using our courses, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
The CFPS Exam Preparation Course and other courses are a self-paced online training programme consisting of recorded video lectures, slide decks, key word matrices, practice questions, quizzes and mock examinations, based on the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook, 21st Edition.
The Handbook itself is not included. You must obtain your own copy separately. Our materials reference it by page number and are designed to be used alongside it.
Access is granted for 12 months from the date of purchase. The full course is available immediately — there is no drip schedule.
Your account is personal to you. Do not share your login. We may suspend accounts showing signs of shared or automated access.
We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be notified where practical.
We do not guarantee that you will pass the CFPS examination. No preparation course can. Your result depends on your own study, experience and performance on the day.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of NFPA or IFPO. The CFPS credential is awarded solely by IFPO under its own rules. Completing our course does not entitle you to the credential.
Our materials reflect our understanding of the 21st Edition at the time of recording. Standards and editions change; we update where we can, but always verify against the current published source for professional work.
Our Certificate of Completion confirms you finished this course. It is not a professional qualification or licence.
- Prices are in [US Dollars]. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.
- REFUND POLICY. You may request a full refund within 3 days of purchase provided you have completed no more than 20% of the course. After that, no refund is available because the full content is accessible immediately.

All course content — videos, slides, question banks, matrices and documents — is owned by The Platform of Fire Engineering and protected by copyright.
You may use it for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, record, screenshot, download, redistribute, resell, publish, or use it to teach or train others, whether paid or unpaid.
NFPA content quoted or referenced remains the property of NFPA.
Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
You agree not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Platform, share account credentials, or behave abusively toward staff or other learners in any community channel.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, without refund.
We collect your name, email and progress data to deliver the course and issue certificates. See our Privacy Policy [LINK] for details of how we handle your data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including exam failure, lost career opportunities, or professional decisions made in reliance on course content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our materials are educational. They do not constitute professional engineering advice for any specific project. Always work from the current published codes and standards, and apply your own professional judgement.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on-site notice. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
